Annio Gioacchino Stasi is an Italian screenwriter, writer, essayist and linguist. He co-wrote Andrea Porporati’s The Sweet and the Bitter (2007), which competed at the 64th Venice International Film Festival, and wrote the documentary Ombre di luce (2010), in which he also appeared. Alongside his work in film and television, Stasi has been involved for many years in research and teaching in creative writing, visual language and audiovisual literacy at Sapienza University of Rome.
