A 20-minute short film in black and white, with some color scenes, depicting the adventures of a young dancer from the plains of Taraco, who travels to the big city of Puno to participate as a dancer in the festivities of the Virgen de la Candelaria. Upon returning to his community, he learns that his mother has died and is told how it happened and how she was buried.
